My BH contractions come and go, especially when I go for one of my walks, but there's nothing that resembles a pattern and no other preterm labor signs, so I'm just enjoying the fact that my pregnancy is now relatively normal. My dr. even joked that she might even end up having to induce me. Place your bets on the due date, etc. here: http://www.babyhunch.com/poolpage.php?poolid=3e52b2e3406c6c5bff38196322b6309d
We have Andrew's 5 yr Yale reunion this weekend. We decided to stay in a hotel up there to somewhat get a way. Staying in a hotel is always fun, even when it's only an hour away. I'm excited about having something to get dressed up for. I've been hanging out in tank tops and Andrew's shorts for weeks now ;)
Baby Girl is doing great. We're not doing ultrasounds anymore, but the dr. is estimating just over 4lbs at this point.
32 week update:
compare this to my 12 week bump when I thought I was getting big. HA!
From my weekly email:
By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.
How far along?: 32w, 6 days
How big is baby?: The size of a squash still
Weight gain/loss?: 30lbs. - I think I'm going to stop reporting now.
Stretch marks?: Still stretchmark free. woot!
Maternity clothes?: Yes please.
Sleep?: getting more and more difficult because my hips hurt so much
Food cravings?: I probably eat 5 servings of some kind of cold fruit a day, and I've started craving icecream all the time!
Gender?: Baby Girl!
Movement?: All the time now. Especially after I eat. She is in the right position for birth, which also means that her feet are now up by my ribs. Her kicks don't hurt yet, but she likes to wedge her right foot under my right rib.

Belly button?: So the top half is now flat and the bottom half is still an inny. As much as I love being pregnant, I can't wait to have my body back. I don't think it will ever be the same though.
What are you looking forward to this week?: Our weather has been incredible and it's supposed to stay that way. I'm also looking forward to another meeting with our doula this Sunday afternoon. We are finishing up our birth plan!
Notables:
Andrew and I spent some time with a friend's 5 week old baby girl last weekend. She was getting a little fussy and Andrew took her and walked around with her for 15 minutes or so. I wanted to cry because they looked so sweet together. He is even more handsome with a baby in his arms and has now been dubbed the "baby whisperer". Good news for me :)
