I swear I will get to the HI pictures this weekend. With the move and being behind on work, I just haven't been able to get to them. But how cool is it that I had clients' photos to edit first?! I took Adalyn on a mini shoot with me yesterday. I snapped this one when testing the lighting. I'm also in the middle of converting all of my files to my new computer - that's right, I'm a mac girl now. I feel so dumb with it though. I was on the phone with Adobe support until 11 pm last night, asking the dumbest of dumb questions as I tried to convert my Lightroom catalogue. I've never been one to read an instruction manual. I'm a learn as you go kind of girl too.
Life is fast paced here, but it's good - really good actually, and I'm struggling with thoughts that the ball is about to drop. I have to remember that God's got it all in His hands. A devotional came through my email yesterday, and the verse is such a good one for me right now.
"God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to to what pleases him" (Philippians 2:13).
God's power in you. The creator of the entire universe. His power. How incredible is that? I feel like I can do it all when I think about that.
Here's to a productive weekend! We are power washing the desk and patio furniture (super awesome craigslist find!) and starting to fix up the basement for Addy's playroom and our workout space. And, I have my first newborn session Monday morning. I'm soooooo excited!! Happy Friday all!
