Oh Ellie Belly Boo Bear, how are you 4 months already?! It seems like yesterday I was rocking on my hands and knees in our living room waiting for you to make your grand entrance.
At your 4 month visit last week, you weighed in at 12lbs 1oz and 25 1/4 inches tall. You are still my little string bean. You nurse about every 3 hours during the day and take 3 naps that are about 30 minutes each - such a short napper, just like your sister was. I finally have your naps and bedtimes synced up which has made for a much happier household! You go to sleep right after your sissy does, around 7:30pm and then you wake up once to nurse for about 10 minutes and then, most nights, you stay asleep until 7:30. I know we are getting to the point of cutting out that middle of the night feeding, but I'm actually not ready to. I secretly like waking up and cuddling with you and keeping you as my little baby. Your pedi said since you are so tiny we can wait to start solids until just after 6 months, so maybe we will cut out that feeding then.
Balancing working with the two of you has been a challenge, but I've figured out some tip that work well....like editing with you on my lap. You like to look at the babies.
You are rolling side to side, love to stand when we hold your hands, and giggling ALL the time. Such a happy, content, lovable little squish you are. <3
I have a lot of images of you and your sissy on my computer, but since we are planning a vacation to TX next week, I don't have time to edit them. :( But I did do this one.....You two + your daddy = my world. xoxo, Mommy.
