After Michigan, Andrew's mom came back with us and stayed for another week.
We went blueberry picking at a local farm and seriously still have at least 2 pints of frozen blueberries in the freezer.
We had a fun dinner at my parent's house with my Nonni and brother Mike and his girlfriend Sarah.
That Sunday, we headed off to the Bronx zoo! We decided to go ahead and purchase the family membership since more than one trip pays for it. It really paid off to do that because you got up close parking and free passes to all the extra activities....like the monorail!
Random, but Adalyn and I had our first camel ride. I love her expressions in these.
The one cracks me up. You can't see the baby monkey here, but mom had a baby...so funny that the dad was napping while mommy was up taking care of it.
The girls also had their first carousel ride.
Our last stop was the little dinosaur tour.
We haven't really talked to Adalyn yet about how animals eat other animals. This was a rude introduction to the concept.
She was terrified.
But the way they comforted each other just melted my heart.
Last weekend (the Saturday before Adalyn's 3rd birthday party...post to come next) we headed off to Yankee Stadium for the girls first baseball game!

I've been busy dealing with our first house!! We seriously are supposed to close on this baby on the 29th. How this happened so fast is a whole different post, but here's a sneak peek!
I'm crazy in love with it. It's 3 bedrooms 2.5 baths, a large finished sunroom with wall to wall windows and tons of character...the stone wall.
refinished peg wood floors people!
And a fully finished walk-out basement.
And the best part, is probably the 1 acre of land for the girls to get crazy on.
We will be moving from our town since this house in our town would be over $1million. But we are literally right over the border and still close to everything and only 2 minutes from my parents! It was just perfect for us in every way. I have all these ideas to fix it up even more in my mind, but we are going to start with paint. :) I kept telling myself that I wouldn't get attached until we actually close, but it's too late now. I love it. It's so our first house.
