We started off the holiday with Christmas Eve service at our church.
I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a 24 week photo. (24 weeks with Adalyn)
After service, we met my parents for what is a traditional Chinese food dinner.
My brother was in town from LA. He and my mom together are always entertaining.
And then it was back to my parent's house to open up our Christmas Eve pajamas from Rufus.
Yes, I let her wear my Mikimoto pearls. Hey, they're insured.
Rufus takes shelter from Adalyn.
For Christmas morning, Andrew made us french toast, eggs, and bacon. mmmmmm
And then came the stockings from Santa.
Santa somehow got into my computer and made Andrew a family canvas. Sneaky man.
I surprised Andrew with LL Bean slippers that weren't really a surprise. We set a $50 limit on gifts for each other. These were $60 something, so I wondered if he thought I would get them. I got new maternity workout shirts. :)
She says "Disney", people.
And then came our gift to Adalyn. She has been loving the basketball hoop at her Gym class, so we couldn't resist buying her one. After a sale, coupon, and left over gift card, it only cost us $11. Score!!
Just a tad confused as to why I won't let her put the balls on the tree in the basket...
We even raised it a level.
She got a personalized beanbag for her room from Papa & Gigi in Texas.
And Nonni in Florida sent her new books.
We has stickers left over from her CBS class, so I thought we could take a couple minutes of the morning to remind her of the reason for the season and why she is getting gifts.
We then all showered and headed out to Mom and Dads again.
There was literally a tree full of gifts just for her.
And boy did I make out! Kelly Moore camera bag, Lensbaby, and an expo disc! Only my photog friends will appreciate those items, but man, I am SO happy! Thank you Mommy and Daddy.
They even found me this non alcoholic red wine that is not sweet like grape juice. Another score! I didn't get a picture of it, but Andrew got a new Staub dutch oven for cooking. I can't wait to see what he makes in his few weeks off. ;)
I am totally bringing my lensbaby to TX with us. So much fun!...
I can't believe we are going to have an 8 month old next year!
The look for a very satisfied little girl.
We even had time to Skype with our Texas and Michigan family!
Dad smoked the Turkey. It was worth the wait, dad.
Falalalala-lalalala.
Texas pictures to come, provided this Blizzard doesn't ground our flight!
