until V-day...no, no, not Valentine's Day, but Monkey Jr.'s viability day. Well that and Christmas Eve. Even though my appointments have gone well and I'm showing no signs of preterm labor this time, it still brings me comfort to know that she would have a fighting chance if something did happen.
Forgive the outfit above. I was wearing this under a sweater dress for a party last night, and thought it showed the bump well.
How far along?: 23w 3days
How big is baby?: She(!) is now 10.5-11.8 inches. At my appointment last week, she was measuring 1lb 1 oz! Apparently is is forming little nipples (yeah, really), her face is fully formed, and she is listening to my voice and heartbeat - and even to loud sounds like cars honking and dogs barking.
Weight gain/loss?: +16. I guess I'm okay with it. I was definitely over 20 at this point with A. And I still haven't hit 140 yet...even being 5'8, that's my scary number. I saw 160 with Adalyn!
Stretch marks?: none...yet, but if I keep eating the way I've been, I can only expect some.
Maternity clothes?: Pants yes, but some regular shirts still fit. I like longer ones anyway.
Sleep?: If I wasn't up editing until 11 every night, I'd be well rested.
Food cravings?: still on the sweet train and it's growing me quite the caboose.
Gender?: sweet baby girl. AND she has a name!!!!
Movement?: it's still not very consistent, but she's there and I love feeling her.
Belly button?: I think it will pop by the third trimester.
Symptoms?: Hunger and fatique. I'm not sure what to do to get myself to bed earlier. I'm pretty sure that has a lot to with the sugar cravings.
What are you looking forward to this week?: lunch with friends I haven't seen in a while AND Andrew being done with his first semester. He is done this afternoon. Woohoo! We survived.
