In keeping with my promise to myself to keep up with our family photos :: another blog post!
Somehow, it's Monday again, and per usual, I'm happy I had my camera to document our weekend.
Saturday morning, I had a newborn session and in between that and my engagement session in the evening, we went on a brief family walk around town. We ran into one our favorite families (love a small town!), chatted it up, and literally scarfed down burgers and fries for dinner. I will not complain about these extra 10lbs, I will not complain about these extra 10lbs, I will not complain about these extra 10lbs.....
Sunday obviously started off with church (20 minutes late per usual) and then Andrew and I dropped the kiddos off at my parents while we cleaned out our basement. The work to finish it gets started in 3 days and boy did we have a lot of cleaning out to do. How did we accumulate so much stuff in just over 2 years of marriage?!
Anyway, once Andrew and I finished, we headed back to my parent's house to celebrate Father's Day with them. We had to turn around to get my camera, as I insisted that we had to have as many photos of E's first Father's Day as we did with A's first Father's Day. I didn't quite succeed in that goal, but I'm pretty happy with what I got. ;)
My brother and his girlfriend were in town for the day, and it was nice to get to see him and finally get to meet this girlfriend that I've heard so much about. I think she liked us...
Adalyn was, of course, our entertainment.
And mom and dad never disappoint in the wine department.
This girl is getting way too big.

My dad made us some s'mores or dessert.
Adalyn loved her first one, but was bothered by the stickiness (so my daughter).
caught dad sneaking some burnt marshmallow....
And that was that. We headed home, watched some of the Spurs game, and I tried once again to get Eloise down before 9:30 and failed. I would love for her to move her bedtime up some. She's currently doing 9:30-4:30 or 5, so I really can't complain, but I really miss my evening 'no baby' time. :)
