UPDATE:: You were 11lbs, 4oz. (25th percentile) and 24.5 in (90th percentile) at your 3 month visit. <3
We are back safe and sound from Michigan, though I'm missing my big baby terribly. Adalyn and Andrew's mom fly back on Thursday afternoon, and I'm ever so grateful that I have an obnoxious amount of editing to distract me. Tons of photos from Michigan to come, but first, our sweet little Eloise at 3 months yesterday:
Oh Eloise, you continue to be the easiest and sweetest baby on the planet. You are sleeping an average of 8 hr hour stretches at night, which makes for one happy mama. You can roll tummy to front, though it's usually in a protest of tummy time, and once, while we were in Michigan, I picked you up out of the pack n play on your belly. You must have somehow rolled onto it because I put you down to sleep the other way! You LOVE to make those adorable baby squeals and I can tell that you are going to be a talker like your big sister. Speaking of her, you love your big sister and are VERY tolerant of her poking when she like to play "docca" (aka doctor) with you.
You put weight on you legs and seem to find such joy in "standing", but we have to work on your head control a bit more. Your 3 month dr.'s appt. isn't until next week, but I weighed you yesterday and you were a whole 11lbs! I was kind of shocked that you gained so much because you are quite the snacker and I don't think you take more than 3-4oz. at a time. You nurse like a champ, but prefer smaller more frequent meals to the feasts that your big sister did. This probably contributed to the mastisis that I managed to get this weekend (more on that later...ugh!), but I don't mind because you are just so darn cute and ALWAYS smiling. See....
