THANKSgiving

It had been a while since I went to sleep with a giant smile on my face.  It's not that I haven't been happy - just that I've been exhausted and busy and sick and tired and preoccupied and sinus infection ridden on top of the happy.  But Thursday night I really did go sleep SO happy and SO grateful for our loving families, for our sweet and precious little girls, for our marriage, for our home, for our FAITH, for A LOT of things….for the tangible and intangible.  Trying to redeem myself from last year's almost photo-less Thanksgiving, I took about a bunch of pictures.  :)

The day started with breakfast.  Eloise went first, fed cereal by Grandma.

And Andrew continued our tradition of yummy breakfast.

Adalyn spent the morning having a tea party with Thomas, Gordon, and Elmo in the playroom.  I love that she has such an imagination now….and that she can play by herself somewhat unsupervised.  ;)

Elles Belles hung out on the couch with KP, while I just continued to stare at the print orders on my desk that need to go out.  Despite having 2 sessions this weekend, I took most of it off!

After breakfast, we headed over to my parent's for an early Thanksgiving dinner.

Ellie loved the walker (first time).

I admired my mom's beautiful table.

And continued to snap away.  :)

Grandma teared up over the blessing.

Lil' monk tried some mashed potatoes.

And played with a turkey a leg.

Adalyn was not having any of it until….

I seriously crack up every time I look at those.

Andrew's mom and stepdad headed back to TX, and we brought the girls back to our place around 7:30.  Then Andrew and I watched the Ravens/Steelers game (so good!) and headed off to bed.

Such a perfect day and so many things to be thankful for.
