I'm not sure these images of our girls even need words attached to them. Can you see their joy? I bet you even feel it after looking at all of these. I am just so blessed to call these girls mine. The joy they bring into my heart is indescribable.
I've been waiting and waiting for the flowers of Spring to make an appearance. And although they were slow to blossom this year, the daffodils and cherry trees have FINALLY bloomed!
Matching Easter dresses were completely necessary…agree? I realized that getting pictures of the girls on Easter (in good light), was going to be impossible, so Andrew helped me grab some Saturday evening. The light was amazing and although it was a bit chilly, the girls did great!
Andrew made fish tacos and packed an awesome picnic to conclude the shoot. It was just about killlling me to not be shooting as the sun was dipping down, but we were all hungry.
Of course the girls also needed matching Easter pajamas, and I adore this snap after they saw their baskets.
We headed to church early to play with some bunnies and lambs and then had a fun Easter egg hunt after service.
Woohoo for a family picture!
After the girls took their nap, we headed over to my parents house for dinner. The girls played in my dad's new car.![]() |

I did not make my annual Carrot Cake this year because there was a ridiculous amount of carrot cake that we froze from E's party. There has been A LOT of sugar in our bellies lately. lol
And there you have it - a laid back Easter. Just perfect, if you ask me. This weekend was also pretty quiet.
We made Mickey Mouse pancakes.

then I took her to the park, and we all headed out to Bertuccis for dinner. Today was church, Costco, and then I had a beach session. The girls had dinner with Daddy. I love when he videotapes it for me. :)
