I'm still in shock that Henry will turn 8 weeks this Thursday....fastest 8 weeks EVER. And I just realized that I haven't done his 1 month post yet! It's hard to spend any time at my computer because by the time I put the girls to bed, I just want to snuggle him on the couch...NOT sit at my computer. :)
Anyway, the end of summer slipped right into Fall and I swear, if I didn't have these images, I could have complete amnesia of it all.
Sweet Henry boy, 1 month new at 10lbs 4oz. (he was 12lbs. 4oz at his 7 week well visit last week - boy likes to eat!)
Call me crazy, but this kid pretty much just sleeps in bed with me 4-5x a week. I have a co-sleeper at the side of the bed, but it's just so much easier to keep him there and nurse him lying down so I can go back to sleep. It's working, but he wakes more frequently than if I have him in the co-sleeper. We are still exclusively breastfeeding, but he does take a bottle pretty well. He can be so hungry that he will drink pumped milk ice cold! Most nights he is in bed my 10pm, wakes around 1:30 and then again around 4, and then 6. Not too bad.
These sweet girls are way more exhausting!
Andrew's mom came to visit over Labor Day weekend and headed to the beach one last time!
And Adalyn started her 4s program that next Tuesday. She looks so old here. Can't take it.
We did not do a two's program for Eloise this year, and I am instead doing MOPS an CBS with her, and playdates on the off days. This was Ellie's first day of MOPS too!

Miss Adalyn started soccer. Her total goals in just 2 games is up to 5...a natural!
We've kept our weekends pretty low key, and that has been fabulous.

Just before his 6 week birthday, Henry started smiling!! Times like this, I am so grateful for the iPhone because I would have otherwise missed documenting this moment.

Last weekend, Andrew's dad and stepmom came to visit, and we went apple picking and also spent some special time with my parents.
The answer is yes: I will still try to coordinate all of Henry's clothes with the girls. ;)
Oh, and I colored and chopped my hair!
The jury is still out on your eye color, but I think they might end up being the darker blue like Ellie's.
There are many days when Mr. H wears 3+ outfits. ;)
I pump milk to avoid awkward nursing sessions at restaurants. This was Adalyn's first time giving him a bottle.

This last Saturday, we went to Adalyn's soccer game and then headed off for Henry's first Yale football game!
