Henry, 2 & 3 months, and the fastest Fall EVER

I.just. can't .with it being mid November.  How is this even possible? Once again, if it weren't for all of my pictures I could seriously forget that all this happened!  My busy season with work came on fast and furious, but I'm really proud of all of the fun family times we were also able to accomplish.  Even with our fast-paced life style, and often stress-FULL days, I still maintain that these are the best days of my life.  I love looking back at all of these and savoring in our sweet babies.

We kicked off Fall with another visit to a local Farm's fall festival.  My parents came along and we had so much fun!  It was such a gorgeous day.

Oh yea, and I cut my hair.  At first I loved it, but now I'm wishing I didn't do it.  At least it grows back!

And this big guy?!  He turned 2 months on October 6th.

Henry, I'm so obsessed with you! At 2 months, you were 13lbs, 10oz...basically you've gained 2oz. a day.  haha.  And, bless your heart, you are an amazing sleeper.  Since about 2 months, you have only woken up ONCE per night.  At 2 months, you were not going to sleep until 11, but with your next wake up at 5, I was pretty happy.  Now you are out by 9:30 and waking up at 4:30.   It's your sister's sleep habits that need improvement. ;)  You also might be the easiest baby in the world, and literally only cry when you're hungry...which is about every 3 hours during the day.

Goodness, you are delicious!  Your 2 month photos:

After spending 6 uninterrupted weeks with my littles and no work, it was really hard to leave them for a session.  So, if I could bring them along, I did (with Kimi's help, of course).

It was so fun picnicking with you all after a session!

More than anything, it's been an adjustment being a working mom to three with a husband who is away all the time.  We all miss him so much during the week.

We are having our family photos taken in TX next week, but I wanted to make sure I grabbed some photos of the kids in our backyard in the New England foliage.  Henry wasn't his smiley self during that 15 minutes, which is kind of a bummer, but I just treasure these!  The girls are really into having their picture taken lately and I LOVE it!

I wanted more than anything to go to a real pumpkin patch this year and to get photos of the kids there, but as luck would have it, mastitis struck me hard that weekend.  I was battling 103-104 fevers and was probably the sickest I have felt in a really long time.  With Motrin and Tylenol combined, I was able to make it to church that Sunday morning for the opening weekend of the new location, and we quickly ran over to the local grocery store for our pumpkins. It's not what I hoped for this year, but there was no way anything else was going to happen!  On the plus, I think Andrew is giving into a real Christmas Tree Farm this year - yay! (yes, I have our outfits already picked out for that).

While we weren't able to go 'real' pumpkin picking, we were able to finish Henry's room.  I love it!

And because I am not a person who does well behind a desk for too long, I had to take some editing breaks with my little man in our backyard, camera in hand of course.

Though my schedule has felt out of control the last few weeks, it was pretty organized, and I managed to pull off all of the "mom" things I wanted to do....like attending Adalyn's fall field trip with her preschool class.

I managed the stress of my busy season with coffee and mornings with my babies,

And a lot of GORGEOUS walk and runs around our neighborhood.

My Nonni came to visit for a week, and we celebrated her 78th birthday!

And before we knew it, it was Halloween!  Andrew came home at 11pm that Thursday night, and worked in the city Friday, but didn't even eat his dinner before carving pumpkins with the girls.  I have the best memories of carving pumpkins with my Dad on Halloween and it was so important to me that we continued this tradition with our girls.

I was super excited when I realized that Halloween was on a Saturday this year - HELLO, we could do a family theme!!!  After realizing that Henry would fit Adalyn's first Halloween costume (zebra) and Eloise would fit her 2nd costume (elephant), I convinced Adalyn that she also wanted to be an animal this year.  And long story short, we ended up being a pretty cute looking zoo crew!   We headed out to a town trick or treating event during the day, and ended with Trunk or Treat at Adalyn's preschool.

In between the events, we popped over to my parent's house to get more candy. :)

Time out for a minute, can we please talk about this Adalyn vs. Henry comparison?!

Kimi even was a good sport and joined in on our zoo theme!

Sweet Elles Belles fell asleep on the way to the Trunk or Treat, and took a bit to warm up to the idea, but then both girls loved going up to each trunk to get candy.  Adalyn also loved seeing her teachers all dressed up.

And then we had a few of our friends over for drinks and ravaging through our kids' candy loot.

And then....it was Daylight Savings Time.  Need I say more?

Really though, thank the heavens above that this little guy is a good sleeper!

The weather this Fall was nothing short of amazing, and it was 70 degrees earlier this month, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get some photos of the kids with Kimi in the foliage.  I am obsessed with the following pictures of the girls because their personality just beams right through the images.

Kimi has been such a wonderful addition to our family and is the reason that I can look back at this crazy, busy, Fall season as enjoyable.

I blinked, sweet boy, and you turned 3 months!  15lbs, 11oz and almost off the charts for height!

This life?  It's far from perfect and we have our problems like everyone else, but it's moments like this that make it all worth it.
