Eloise Joyce is 4!

Just wow!!!  In this mama's mind, 4 is the age where my babies graduate to a "kid" from a toddler, so I really can't believe we are here with our sweet and spicy Eloise Joyce.  Oh my baby girl, how you have grown this past year!  You were just above average height at your well visit, but you are still a skinny mini at only 31 lbs.  You are FINALLY done with diapers and accidents (you were a bit stubborn here).  You can ride your bike and scooter like a pro and are becoming an amazing swimmer and ballet dancer! You LOVE going to school in your 3s program with Miss Janet and Miss Kathy and your best friend at school is Elise. Your favorite food is Mac n Cheese, and the favorite of that being from Panera.  You still can't stand chocolate and prefer vanilla everything.  I did get you to try an Oreo the other day, but you ended up just eating the center.  ;)  You LOVE to dress up and are always grabbing a headband or necklace or bracelet to add to your ensemble.  You like to pick out your own clothes now, and I usually just let you go with whatever you want.  You can turn on your tears quicker than any kid I know in order to get your away, and you are so cute when you do it, that it usually works!  You are my cuddle bug and could sit and watch TV with me for hours if I would let you.  You can spell and write your name and have become a great big sister....I can't wait for your newest sibling to arrive and to test your diaper changing skills!

You are so lucky to have your birthday so close to Easter because we always have a fun line up of things to.  We went to the annual pancake breakfast at the local elementary school the weekend before your birthday.

And the day before your birthday, I took you outside to take a few 4 year old photos.  You love taking pictures now, and I sure do love that!!  Look at how gorgeous you are!

That afternoon, we had a little party for you with some of your preschool friends.  We did some fun Easter crafts, ate pizza, and of course, had cake!  You requested a Little Mermaid cake with Ariel and Ursula on it.  They did not have Ursula, but you were still pleased.  :)

Your actual birthday was on a Saturday, so Daddy did a little twist on our usual Saturday morning pancakes.

You were celebrated all day and then we headed out to our favorite Mexican restaurant with Grandpa and Mimi to continue the celebration!

We've been enjoying some seriously nice weather the last 2 weeks and the trend looks to continue for Easter and for baby's arrival.  Oh how I love putting these kiddos outside!
