Wow! I feel like we all deserve a prize for surviving this week. Andrew started launch week at his graduate program on Monday and I've been working non-stop on my NYC fundraiser and have been super busy with my photography business. I'm not complaining - things are looking up, but I seriously can't wait until this event is over on September 21st. FOUR.MORE. WEEKS. We can do it...I think.
Andrew was lucky enough to catch Adalyn's cold from last week, so on top of getting home between 9pm and 12:30am each night this week, he's been battling fatigue from what we have termed "the most ridiculous cold ever". I don't know how it is that I've been spared, but I'm praying it stays away.
Anyway, I was getting tired of all of my regular work and editing other people's pictures, so I decided to go outside on our deck for 10 minutes and just shoot Adalyn and her beloved purple ball. Good decision.
How is she this big already?
I have so much fun just observing her and imagining what she is thinking. Like,
< Crap. It rolled under the chair >.
< Now what do I do? >
< Oh, yea, crawl under the chair and get it >.
< Don't. Hit. Head. >
<Got it! woot.woot. >
