Big Girl

Did you notice in my last post that Adalyn is sitting up?   She was starting to be able to balance herself while we were away in TX, but now she's got it down.  Well, at least for 4 minutes (I timed 4 minutes today haha).  I thought that "practicing" might help her get how to recover when she starts falling.  So we had sitting practice today (on the bed for when she falls).  As you can see, Jada wanted to join in on the fun.  And Jada is getting good at what I call photo bombing.

I found myself saying over and over again, "You're such a big girl!!"  And then I would catch myself.  I don't want her to be a big girl.  I want her to remain my gummy smiling baby forever.  I also went to Carter's today (double stamp Tuesday!) to get her a few more 6-9 month outfits.  I got a little sad looking at all the newborn size clothes.  How, howwwww is she going to be 6 months at the end of this month?

But I have to say, she is getting more and more fun everyday and I'm getting a taste of her personality to come.  We also might have a picky eater on our hands.  She will only eat avocados pureed with breastmilk and warmed up. She knows the difference - it's hysterical.  I'm  so in love with this girl.
